We have all discussed Summer Camp and now is the time for us to make our preparations.

Dates:  Sunday, July 31 to Saturday, August 6, 2011

If you can't attend with the troop during this week because of a conflict with another event, contact me (craig@lebakken.com) for more information on the Many Point "All Star" camp which can be attended individually.

Cost:  $240 per Scout, Adults are free (an incredible deal for a high quality summer camp!) Parents are welcome to camp with the troop any number of nights.  We will need many parents to help drive scouts to and from camp.  Payment can be made by check, or with a credit card using the following link: https://www.wepay.com/tickets/view/45328.  

Campsite:  Massasoit site in Ten Chiefs Camp located in Many Point Scout Reservation, 25 miles northwest of Park Rapids MN.

RSVP: Sign up deadline and payments are due on May 30.  Many scouts have balances in their individual troop account (from wreath and popcorn sales) that are available as credit.

Prep Meeting:  An informational meeting will be held in July to provide extensive information, and make group decisions about the camp program, equipment, schedules, etc.  Also, please feel  free to call (952-994-1035) or e-mail me (craig@lebakken.com) with any questions.

Health Forms: Yearly physicals are now required for all participants (youth and adults staying over 72 hours). Please schedule a physical early!  The official "Annual Health and Medical Record" form is attached at the bottom of this page.  Adults staying less than 72 hours don't require a physical, but need to complete the Health History form attached to this page.  All participants also need to fill out the Northern Star Council Health Waiver attached to this page.
